Call me biased, that's my reasoning. However, I do believe that it is far too early to make any assumptions about either card. They are clearly biased. |

| 234826 | 2004-05-07 10:42:00 | But you must admit ATI has done a brilliant job of taking the wind out of Nvidia's sails by enhancing their existing chip, rather than spending millions on new tech. Sure there is nothing much in the benchmarks overall but to be able to keep the pressure on without heaps of new development is thumbing the nose at Nvidia. But hey, everyone has brand loyalty to some degree right. I must admit I'm probably not completely impartial having just built a new system with a 9800 pro (which is stunning BTW). :D |

If NVidia sells more then NVidia kicked butt. If ATI sells more then ATI kicked butt. It has no real value that such and such a card is 2 frames faster at a certain thing than another. What matters is value for money, features, and most importantly the personal choice of the person purchasing the card. You will find that the last one is usually the most important one. |
