| 1362097 | 2013-12-09 18:31:00 | Hi Guys. Yesterday for some unknown reason my screens died (I have 2 moiniore son one card) on Windows 7 So while I was trying to get them going I had to turn off my machine and restart - ie could not shut down properly as I could not see anything. Then when I put in an old screen card my screen worked OK. But My desktop is full of one random icon repeated all over. So I have at least 200 of them. I am deleting them a few at a time, but there are still many of them there. Any suggestions, as it is such a slow process. |

Also pushing the power button normally does a proper shutdown unless you've changed the setting so no need to see what you are doing to achieve that. Holding in the power button should be a last resort if all else fails and you should avoid turning off at the mains as it can corrupt windows. |
