1340062 2013-05-07 09:58:00 Page 55 article - Build a gaming PC for under $1,400.
The author keeps mentioning how to build a PC for under $1400 and how easy it is, yet on the second page of the article, it lists all the parts used which they have added up to $1,524. Fail !!!

Does anyone actually proof read the mag before it goes to print?

New Zealand PC World Magazine.
Technology advice you can trust from New Zealand's only PC magazine.
Did I hear someone yell "Tui"? How can it be trusted when it gets things so wrong.

Come on PC World Mag, put a mag together that can be trusted and can be recommended to others please.

On another note, our very own WT has his mug shot in it on page 52. Congrats mate, a good bit of free advertising lol :D

1340070 2013-05-07 21:58:00 Well, the builder at PCW probably was claiming back the GST on those parts, hence getting it below 1.4K Paul.Cov (425)

Look Familiar ? Article (www.pcworld.com) -- bit of cut/paste, bit of re arranging of words, and titles, take in the exchange rates between USA > NZ -- Loyd Case = writer for PCWorld in the USA. :p

Caught with the hand in the cookie jar.

Now we know what to get for birthdays -- a New Calculator  :p

Now to sit down and work out if its actually possible ( should be or close to it) at what cost buying from shops here in NZ.
