1362121 2013-12-11 05:50:00 Looks like corrupt files may have caused this prob. Did a sfc / scannow it found corrupt files. Rebooted, it installed IE 11 fine. Uninstalled some programs some were adware. I'm going to install malwarebytes and do a full scan. I would say this laptop has a hardware fault. Since, it was showing Whea-logger stop errors in event viewer. This is hardware related, or maybe a faulty CPU. It can also be caused by a feature in the BIOS (like caching or something). It maybe buggy or something

Atm, Mbam has picked up 12 objects. So, you've probably installed something that has installed adware / malware. Have to wait till it finishes

1362124 2013-12-11 19:40:00 I also updated the BIOS. Thankfully it worked ! And the PC didnt crash, while it was being updated. It may or may not fix that Whea-logger error I saw in event viewer. If it is a BIOS / CPU prob Speedy Gonzales (78)
