2013-05-09 08:43:00 | In the early days of Georgie pie they used to be the best pies around. They were freshly made in store....but then they got too big and starting centralising the pie making and from then on the quality went down hill. Can someone fly a pie over to the UK for me to judge pease.

At $4.50 they are an expensive pie but worth it |

2013-05-09 23:02:00 | I used to go fishing at Kawhia and stop on the way at Oparau store for a curried sausage pie, they were awesome. Sadly I don't think they do them any more. | dugimodo (138) | |
2013-05-09 23:43:00 | I always liked Muzzas on Richardson Rd. Muzza made his pies on the premises, always a great choice of fillings but you often had to get in early - or miss out. Haven't been there for several years but my taste buds having been aroused with just the thought, I may just have to make another visit. | WalOne (4202) | |
2013-05-10 01:16:00 | Hype The only reason people went to Georgie Pies was that it was a cheap outing for the family. Selling one pie in McDonalds is not the same as a restaurant chain!
