| 1340735 | 2013-05-11 22:56:00 | A quick run-down so far::::: 13) I haven't bought a firearm yet - and even though the doc says I can have sharp-pointy objects now that my sessions are ended, I don't think I will (but think I should be ABLE to) buy a firearm any time I want, that is . I'm off of buying any more pressure cookers though . This is why I like this guy! What a great, warped sense of humor Well --- youse guys are going into the winter doldrums and weez'uns is just getting wound up for some nice weather and summer activities . We will get useable daylight until 10:30PM or so (NZ= first toilet break after falling asleep) and the towns here all have activities planned for those long-lit days . I'll send the warm weather back to youse all when I's done with it - OK? Hey Joe, best that you wake up BEFORE that first toilet break . ;) Good to learn you're still wry and kicking . |

| 1340736 | 2013-05-12 01:04:00 | A quick run-down so far::::: 1) I have a new hernia inside/behind the repair for an old hernia - lots of surgical troubles in the near future. 2) Painted my Isuzu Amigo what might be called "Arrest Me Orange" and it was supposed to be "Arrest Me Red". This job was supposed to be done a year ago, but the smoke from last year's fires in Idaho kept me from painting with all the ash and atmospheric oils in the air. 3) Our dog MAY have a serious case of heartworms - the vet is still checking her out. It's legal to bury pets and humans in your back yard in Montana. The wife does NOT want to be in the same corner with the dog though. That might present a problem as to where then can I grow my tomatoes if she insists on using the vegetable garden for her final resting place. (The wife, not the dog). 4) The weather is finally getting normal (eg: summer here in Montana) at last. The last snowfall was two weeks ago. 5) I'm running a WIFI Hotspot tonight for a few hours to get this desktopper all up to date and running - but I can't find a few of the drivers, so I may have to swap around the optical drives until I find one that doesn't have Edison's autograph on it. 6) I'll get another bass done soon too - the neck is to die for, it's that good! 7) Gas prices (NZ= petrol, to Upsidedown Land-ers) is/are pretty cheap right now. 8) Everything I have that has wheels, needs new tires (NZ= tyres, pronounced: "Ty-ree'-sz") including the lawn mower. 9) I J U S T ran out of firewood when the weather got warm - in fact the windows are open all night and I can hear the brook bubbling gently over the small dam under the cottonwood tree on the west side of the house, as I sit here writing this. 10) We burned 5 cords of wood this past winter, and I think the temperatures were somewhat warmer this winter than last --- so what gives with that? I dunnow! 11) Haven't seen a Kiwi yet since I moved here. Youse guys aren't traveling much, huh? 12) I have several cases of Mexican beer and can ice as much down as needed is youse guys should all show up at the same time. Pick a number. PS: Montana's 'micro-brews' generally suck; they taste bitter and remind me of burnt plastic. (Don't ask) 13) I haven't bought a firearm yet - and even though the doc says I can have sharp-pointy objects now that my sessions are ended, I don't think I will (but think I should be ABLE to) buy a firearm any time I want, that is. I'm off of buying any more pressure cookers though. 14) I've been playing a lot of blues lately with a small group (drummer, lead guitar, two rhythm guitars, keyboard and me on bass) - but blues isn't well appreciated in Montana. At least I haven't had any large demand for our musical renderings yet. Oh - a couple or three - but that's about all. We play for ourselves a lot and we kinda like that better anyway. 15) I'm still building a few basses here and there, (LINK: plus.google.com) but I've also been repairing a lot of instruments too - mandolins and guitars mostly. Refretting, refinishing and replacing parts is a good way to make a lot of money here. The charges for these repairs done by someone else are HUGE by my standards and they aren't even that good to be charging all that much money. 16) My wife and I found some gold (panning in the rivers here) and have found a tidy amount for our days in the outdoors. We are finding what they call: "wire-gold" and it's just like fine wire when we hit it. Maybe we have found 3/4 of an ounce or so - so far. Waiting for gold to go back up a little but the stock market has to come down first for that to happen - and it will! Well --- youse guys are going into the winter doldrums and weez'uns is just getting wound up for some nice weather and summer activities. We will get useable daylight until 10:30PM or so (NZ= first toilet break after falling asleep) and the towns here all have activities planned for those long-lit days. I'll send the warm weather back to youse all when I's done with it - OK? Good to see you are in précis mode. |

| 1340739 | 2013-05-12 23:44:00 | Having free access to firearms and allowing you to bury people in your backyard would be a runner back here for sure. Thinks :stare:..................Does the Beehive have a backyard? :devil Good to see you back Joe; and firing on all cylinders too by the sound of it.......... Cheers Billy 8-{) (The 'Beehive' is the seat of our Government Joe.) |

| 1340742 | 2013-05-15 10:48:00 | Good to hear back - and that you are active. No kiwi's over there? According to this joint Montana - NZ Govt research report (www.anstaskforce.gov) you may find some of our NZ mud snails crawling about - possibly from NZ/Montana early salmon breeding project visits. | kahawai chaser (3545) | ||
