Visit the website on your smartphone and enter in the Zone that you are parked in and how long you want to park for. You have to have an account created and have some credit available on that account. You enter in license plate and car make/model & colour when creating an account. Walk away and when your time is about to run out, 10 mins left I think, you get a reminder on your phone and you can top up from there if you need more time, no need to go back to the car and feed a machine. At last, a user-friendly win-win system that will keep the merchants, their customers, and Council happy. There'd have to be a limit on how many times you could extend though? Or not? |

Walone you are still restricted to the max time limit allowed for the parking space, which has been increased to 3 hours recently for most around town. |
