| 1361062 | 2013-11-28 22:17:00 | One of my laptops keeps on getting an extension "iWebar 1.25.128" installed. This displays a floating advert for products, and also collects data, which is always in the way. I have removed it several times. Spy Bot has cleaned the malware out, but it keeps coming back. I have cleaned the registry and checked the start up files. To begin with I thought that the Stats counter on our main website had something to do with it, but my other computers running the same software are not affected. They are all running Windows 7. Just discovered it in IE9 & FF which I don't use: FF = iWebar 0.93.134 IE = iWebar Goobzo LTD 1.0.01 The IE9 one will not disable or be removed!! Please help |

| 1361065 | 2013-11-30 08:02:00 | Found the culprit! A program called iWebar.exe was tucked away in program data folder. It was just replacing the bugs as fast as they were swatted. All is well now. It probably came in with a file download. | mzee (3324) | ||
