235121 2004-05-07 23:12:00 Heya .

I'm having a problem which I'm pretty sure started like 2 weeks ago or so when I went from Jetstart to Jetstream Surf 256 .

Basically I can't load some sites .

Like I can't get onto www . phpbbhacks . com

I just get page cannot be displayed . I dunno whats going on because I know the sites existant and online so I can't understand why I get page cannot be displayed . Anyone have any ideas or experienced this also?

NB: I'm running win2000 pro & using adsl router/hub if thats of any relevance .

235124 2004-05-07 23:27:00 Did you change ISP's too? If so perhaps they have a proxy which bans some sites Greg S (201)
235125 2004-05-07 23:30:00 Yea I was on maxnet for start

I'm on orcon now for surf. What sort of proxy banning you talking about? Specific or like just I dunno?

235127 2004-05-07 23:37:00 Um, but you could try using their dns addresses - 210.55.12.1 and 210.55.12.2 Greg S (201)

I put in the DNS settings in router config and reset reconnected.
Browser wouldnt' work at all.

I didn't put the dns into my actual personal computers tcip settings. Dunno if I was sposta but anyway.

Also got told this on recoil forums

i talked to bender other day he said its something to do with the users being on a certain ip range 222. i think ?
