| 235085 | 2004-05-07 14:06:00 | Can anyone suggest a little gizmo I can download that tells me the number of actual A4 pages on a sites 'page' BEFORE I download it? Microsoft is particularlly bad at saying "print this page now' When I do I find Ive got five pages. Whereas if I knew it was five pages long I would have either cut and pasted or selected relevant bits. I had hoped my new WXP would fix this but no. Perhaps I am I the only one this inkwasting irritates? But as a researcher Im always getting masses of pages I could have reduced. Any ideas gurus? :x |

I'm confused as metla's advice works for me. >>Can anyone suggest a little gizmo I can download that tells me the >>number of actual A4 pages on a sites 'page' BEFORE I download it? Ok if you are viewing a page then you have already downloaded it. >>Microsoft is particularlly bad at saying "print this page now' When I do I >>find Ive got five pages. Follow metla's advice and it will tell you how many pages and what is on them. Particualar handy to stop that last page printing which only has one line which is usually the url. |

| 235089 | 2004-05-08 02:12:00 | Thanks all! You were right. The first few times I clicked print preview it only showed page 1 of 1. But finally if I waited loooong enough it changed to three. many thanks |
