| 235022 | 2004-05-07 09:22:00 | Friday, 7 May 2004 08:11:18:p.m. I have a long Word 97 document with lots of soft returns, and I need to remove these returns. I tried "find and replace" but didn't know what to put in the find and then replace boxes. Can anyone help? Also does any one know where to find a list of things like ^p, what they are? Really looking for a guide to editing these sort of things. Thanks Peter M |

Leave the "Replace with" field empty then press Replace All. Note that if all the paragraphs in addition to each line are soft returns it will make quite a mess of your document. |

Remember to save your document first so that if it does not work out then you can close the document without saving to revert it back how it was. |
