Moving into third place now, just behind "whats wrong wif my fridge" and "Rhylau from trademe" threads. > I just staged a one man Hikoi between my shed and my house,it was pretty intense but that's par for the course when emotions are running so high. Oh you don't know how funny that is... :^O :^O :^O :^O > Billy T - Have you not got enough to do today, is it difficult for you to find something worthwhile to do. I find it difficult to believe that someone of your ability finds posting this sort of thing a "fun" thing to do. This type of thread is what BillyT lives for each day. Its why so many people worship him. Didn't you know that? Though I think some of the limelight is being stolen by Metla, as he is now offering Metla t-shirts. |

I find it difficult to > believe that someone of your ability finds > posting this sort of thing a "fun" thing to do . I'm sorry if I disappoint you Jim, but life is not meant to be taken so seriously . There is a time for everything; work, play, love, friends, family, humanity, kindness, sympathy, understanding, and sometimes plain old silly fun . I have had plenty to do today, but it is the weekend and I also have time (make time) for the occasional diversion . I work hard at my business, do a great deal of work for my community, look after my family, offer the best help I can to users of PF1, and I like to play a little too . Humour is what keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously . I like the humour I see here on PF1, but I am not impressed at all by the grinches who would have us act like po-faced old men or maids (as the case may be) while all the while making comments about posts nobody forces them to read, yes you included there Jim, though you don't stoop to the nasty and acrimonious tripe that others seem to think appropriate . I respect you for that, which is why I am answering your post . I wouldn't give the time of day to the others, their behaviour is beneath contempt, hidden as it is behind a series of ever-changing pseudonyms . I protect my privacy sure, but there are those here on PF1 who know who I am, including at IDG . I am a real person and I am fully accountable for my actions here . I do not hide . I believe that if a person is unable to express themselves without resorting to abuse from the security of total anonymity then they are a poor excuse for a human being, like the people who find it necessary to use their fists to enforce their opinions, or to pepper their speech with four letter words . If a post has BT on it, or Winston, or Jester, or Godfather (who also likes an occasional joke) or metla or PoWa or anybody else who you recognise as a poster of light-hearted frivolity from time to time, just move on Jim, go read something else, find a good book or watch TV or something . I can't understand why I bother you Jim, you see, you don't bother me a bit, nor to any of the other critics, but at least you are considered in your comments and polite, so good manners demand that I offer you a reply even though you may not like what I have said . Cheers Billy 8-{) :| And this post is not an invitation for anybody else to wade in with more invective . Let Jim reply if he doesn't like it, neither he nor I need any help . |

| 235283 | 2004-05-08 10:43:00 | Here we go again. You people do not know how sick of this I am. Everyone bitching at each other. Everyone fighting against one another. I come here to give, and recieve help, and engage in a good off topic thread. And I get bloody sick of people making life hell for others. It starts off with a good thread. Then someone makes a not-needed post, and it snowballs form there. Then the cycle starts over again. Why can't all the people that start this grow up for christ's sake. What good will flaming do? Surely you can think of something better to do rather than going on at each other. Go for a long walk as far away from the internet as possible, or go to the swimming pool, a nice train ride, or something. At least it'll give you all a chance to cool off. Hell, if we keep on treating each other like crap, there may not even be a PressF1 anymore. I've seen big forums go down in the past, purely because the users were treating each other like dirt. We're able to not sink that low. C'mon everyone. Let's go back to the PressF1 we all we all came here for. MM |

You expect people to listen to you and you use profanity and blasphemy on the forum? Do that again, and I'll start harrassing you from now on. Get your life out of the gutter. |

You expect people to listen to you, and you use profanity and blasphemy on the forum? Oooh, Fundies! :D On a more serious note, conspiracy theories fuel debate, logical thought, and inquiries. Why complain about this thread, unless you want to be kept in the dark? |
