| 235167 | 2004-05-08 13:18:00 | There is nothing stopping someone starting an IRC "Press F1" room, however, I like the fact that Liam's Chat F1 site is web based . I used to chat online years ago and was a host for msn when they used an IRC chat based program . msn changed to a web-based initiative due to the inherent insecurities with IRC . As it turned out, that just encouraged the script kiddies to try and infiltrate the msn chat control system, however their attempts at bringing the system down was annoying rather than serious . My point is that the information about chatters that was available to hosts or anyone who knew how to use the IRC system to their advantage, was quite eye opening . I or others, who may have fears already about computers, wouldn't like to be exposed to this whilst in a chat room designed to help people . J :D |

It needs to be faster or something. When surfing pressf1, your brain automatically slows down 200% just because of the speed of the forum. You know what I'm talking about... |
