| 235132 | 2004-05-07 23:43:00 | I can't access that site either, my IP starts with 222. There was some concern that some couldn't access Yahoo and CNN and some other sites a few weeks back, however those seem OK now. Email Orcon with your problem and they may be able to do something. J :D |

| 235134 | 2004-05-07 23:45:00 | Telecom advises users to contact their ISP helpdesk with the name of the site they are unable to access and their IP address, if they know it. Well I'm sure as hell not ringing orcon over the phone and saying I can't access phpbbHACKS.com :D I'll send them an email I guess. |

| 235136 | 2004-05-07 23:48:00 | Still. I've reset my connection heaps. I still get the same ip. Unless I'm missing some special meaning to the word RESET. I just disconnect from the internet through modems config panel and reconnect. Still same ip :/ |

| 235139 | 2004-05-07 23:54:00 | You will have the same IP addy, regardless of how many times you re-connect. Orcon's Jetsurf IP's are static, that is, they allocate YOU one and it doesn't change. There was a thread about this recently saying that they will have to bow to Telecom pressure and not provide static IPs as it facilitates server operations, but so far they Orcon changed their system. J :D |
