235717 2004-05-11 04:13:00 I am having serious problems, I used to play neverwinter nights on my sisters laptop and it worked perfectly. When i installed it on my laptop, which is identical to my sisters, infact they were bought a the same shop within 2 weeks of each other. There is something seriously wrong, other games aren't working aswell, is there anything i can do?i've tried rolling back my drivers to the equivalent to my sisters but i have a feeling that it may have something to do with the hotfix i installed to allow me to install the sims superstar.

Please Help!

What sort of problems are you getting? Game not loading or graphic issues?

What hotfix was this? Is it one that can be uninstalled if you are no longer playing Sims?

235719 2004-05-11 05:21:00 I uninstalled the hotfix but it still messing up, i think i might have something to do with some random setting any more advice? wolfnerd (5633)
235720 2004-05-11 05:24:00 thw main problem is the games run normally but when they actually start (as in the actual game) the screen flashes on and i can see the game but then it crashes! wolfnerd (5633)
235721 2004-05-11 05:49:00 Have you checked the graphic settings for screen resolution within the game? You may be trying to run the game at a too higher resolution that cannot be supported. If you compare the game settings on your sisters laptop with yours, this may help. Jen C (20)
235722 2004-05-11 06:45:00 If you have uninstalled the Hotfix and tried Jen's suggestion re the monitor settings you could try reinstalling the game. Susan B (19)
