| 235753 | 2004-05-13 07:07:00 | Hi Zane Did you get any exception codes with that error message, eg 0x800.... ? What is the specs of your machine? Another helpful place to check for error messages is the Event Viewer Log. You can find this under Control Panel > Admin Tools. Have a look for any yellow exclamation marks next to items that would be around the time the machine reboots. Clicking on details may give a little more info. Certainly a strange problem Jen :) |

| 235755 | 2004-05-13 08:03:00 | > BSUDFRDR.SYS Ah ha! You have Nero InCD installed? What version is it? There are some known incompatibilities with older versions of this program and XP - it causes BSOD's .... although doing this in conjunction with plugging in a USB card reader is rather strange. Anyhow, try uninstalling InCD - use a registry cleaning to remove all traces of it, and see if this makes a difference. You can always reinstall it if it doesn't help. |

| 235756 | 2004-05-13 09:18:00 | Hi Jen c I have Nero 5 and please excuse my lack of computer skills but when I go programs - ahead nero it says its empty so how do I uninstall it? Zane |
zane (5635) | ||
| 235757 | 2004-05-13 09:28:00 | You just want to uninstall the InCD part of Nero - you should find it under Add/Remove Programs in the Control Panel. When you browse to the launching link found on the Start Menu > All Programs, is this where you see an empty folder? |

Glad to hear it is all sorted now Zane :) Your empty folder under My Programs sounds like the launching link is missing from your Profile's My Programs Menu. The fact that it was missing, sounds as if Nero had something strange happening with it anyway. When you reinstall the updated Nero, this should replace the missing link. Cheers Jen |
