(kur-pin): a bird's backside.

One of those words you never knew existed, and probably didn't think was needed; but there you are, somebody thought of it.

Life is too serious.:|
Time for some whimsy again.

236574 2004-05-14 09:28:00 My word, that is handy to know.
Now I know why the boss is so one eyed - a curpin instead of a monocle.
Thank you

236575 2004-05-14 10:01:00 A chirpin curpin is what you need Billy to take things off your mind. If you need to shift a heavy duty load I suggest an ostriches chirpin curpin will do the job.

You don't want a chirpin birds backside in the office though R2x1, a definite tendency to foul productive activities. My advice is surgery for a bi-focal duet. At least then you'll know which end to avoid.

236577 2004-05-15 04:14:00 I'm surprised BillyT can even sit on his curpin with the lashing he got last week. KingWave (5517)
236578 2004-05-15 04:38:00 I didn't notice anything unusual last week Kingwave.?:|
I'm sittin' just fine thanks, and curpin is an ornithological term so it doesn't really apply.

Please remember that WFTWE is just for fun, and opening this thread is entirely optional, so we'll all keep things relaxed and friendly won't we.

Cheers

236579 2004-05-15 07:55:00 Actually, I had the same thoughts KingsWave (BTW, does that make you Lizzie's left hand hand?) but, couldn't bring myself to imagine Billy's curpin to the point where I could formulate anything tastefull to write :O

And, Billy, cross species terminology can be quiet applicable especially where descriptive terms are required. Maybe a photo would put readers minds at ease :^O

Must say there has been a bit of a breeze blowing through the forum in the past few days which is rather nice.

Weeeell, I don't usually do requests Murray, but I'll see what I can do for another cross-species word next week . Dunno about the photo though, but if I can find one suitable I'll link it . :D

236581 2004-05-15 09:23:00 Would a seabird waiting for the fish to rise have a lurkin curpin? Laura (43)
236582 2004-05-15 09:33:00 Hmmmm........

Quite likely Laura.

Would a chicken on a spit have a flamin curpin?
