236311 2004-05-13 10:39:00 I had the idea that you had a Fujifilm 602Z???

If so, their warranty policy is very good (administered by Hanimex NZ Ltd) and it sounds as though you might be in line for a warranty repair.

FWIW, I don't think you broke it... It's a fairly common problem with a lot of cameras, digital or not.

236312 2004-05-13 10:39:00 Eight weeks? Wouldn't that be a warranty job beetle?

If not, leave the batteries out for 24 hours then try again. Some equipment has electronics that desn't quit until the last vestiges of electrical charges have dissipated.

You could also check and see if it has a reset button, check the manual as it might need the equivalent of a reboot.

Cheers

236314 2004-05-13 10:43:00 Words of wisdom? OK.

Has all the symptoms of flat batteries.

Sure they are all in the right way round?

Not been taking underwater photos?

This has only happened because you refused to provide broom parking for SusanB.
