| 236052 | 2004-05-13 00:22:00 | for those who dont know TechTV is a technoligy tv chanal on saturn. I have just found out that Comcast has decided to stop all international feeds for techTV. TechTV was the best thing on TV and now it has come to and end of us in NZ. TechTV will end in NZ at the end of this month. |

Damn!! Oh well guess I get to save a few more dollars each month....maybe I should get Paradise lightspeed internet instead? Hmmmm.....10Mbps nice. :-) |

Anything interesting and it's not going to happen or they will may you pay extra for it. I've been try to get them to get the SciFi channel but they show no interest what so ever. Now if you said we need another shopping channel that would be different. PS.. Tech TV appears on a multimedia binary news groups every week so you can still download them.. |

| 236059 | 2004-05-13 03:39:00 | Maybe Sky and Saturn need to look at a better system for pay per view TV. Why should subcribers have to pay to get channels they don't watch. Why not have a completely flexible pick and choose system. Make it a minimum of ten channels (or whatever) for x dollars. You then pick the channels you want. That way the customer is really getting what they want for their money. If you want the shopping network and three news channels etc then you select them. If you are paying for what you want to watch I don't see why it can't be more flexible. So some on you Pay TV guys why do we have to pay for crap we don't watch? You may find the very channels that you are ditching are the ones people want to see. |
