| 238069 | 2004-05-20 11:35:00 | I have recently installed Norton personal firewall Ver3 using the automatic install. I am using win 98se, internet explorer ver6 & netscape 7.1, with xtra as the internet provider. After opening & closing either browser a few times, the window breaks up, win locks up & no other program will operate. I believe the firwall is the problem as when turned off everything operates normally. I am at a loss as to how to configure the firewall so the system operate normally & welcome any advise |

| 238071 | 2004-05-21 11:17:00 | Suggest you uninstall the firewall, then reinstall. During the install you can have it look for all installed programs which have the capability to access the internet, etc. Then look through the list it will provide and amend any of the permissions to suit your tastes. |
