I have only limited time on dial up and don't want to set for automatic updates because I never know when I will be on line for certain, so it is impossible to schedule. Rob |

You can schedule updates with AVG, however as someone mentioned earlier, if you are on dial up it saves having to remember to have your PC on, and connected, at the required time. |
