238415 2004-05-22 02:34:00 I can't see any recent posts on this topic.

Fair Go had an item on Wednesday about retail DVDs delaminating. The particular one was 18 months old and played once.

Apparently it is a well known fault in the industry but not advertised.

So, what can we expect to happen to all the home movies saved to DVD for posterity? Not to mention favorite films and data.

Anyone know more?

Cheers

Yes, those slideshows are defineately better than valium - unless they were taken on a topless beach in the Greek Islands

Oh how cruel :_|

Can't you just see the look on my 20 yr old daughters face (in 10 years time) as we show all her friends our loving extended footage of nappie changing, bathing, and potty training. The tender emotions bring tears to my eyes already. ]:)

But I'll have a look at GFs links. Just thought it was an important topic to raise. Wouldn't want certain people to think I didn't know to Google first. :D
