| 238431 | 2004-05-24 00:28:00 | Hi All F8 will not let me in, have tried several times, starts to load lots of files and then freezes. I am using the Windows OEM disk that came with the PC Boots quite happily from this CD, starts windows set up, but when selecting Recovery Console I can not find/do not have the required password to log on as administrator. This is what happens when you boldly tell someone "that should be easy to fix" I suspect a reinstall is my only option. Do they have backups ?? Yer right !! Thanks for all the suggestions Cheers HH |

| 238433 | 2004-05-24 01:25:00 | Beware starting in safemode with XP...it can take a long time, up to 15 minutes in one case I had. When it freezes on that file...go have a coffee :D |
