238152 2004-05-21 03:01:00 Ive been using Xtra's Alien/Terminator DNS Servers (202.27.184.3 & .5) but was having trouble resolving Google.co.nz and about half of all other websites - It'd require I hit F5 a few times....
Switched to the Woosh DNS Servers (202.74.207.10 & .100) and I still get "cannot resolve" errors - but now Only with google, no other sites.

Is it just me? Just Xtra's DNS? Or just (mostly) google?

Chill.

238153 2004-05-21 04:10:00 Its a bit OT but Orcon’s DNS servers are really slow updating international cache. :(

Every time I change DNS servers for domains I host it takes Orcon about 2 days to update their international DNS cache. :(

238154 2004-05-21 04:14:00 Xtra's DNS tend to be pretty flaky, they also cache their records for a helluva long time, so updates take a lot longer to propagate out.

Try using someone elses.

238155 2004-05-21 04:15:00 As mentioned, Im using the Woosh ones now, but they still dont resolve Google from time-to-time? Chilling_Silence (9)
238156 2004-05-21 07:50:00 May be unrelated but the previous few days I was getting quite a few operation timed out errors and could not get to one of my pop accounts. mikebartnz (21)
