| 238772 | 2004-05-23 11:53:00 | there is another way show all folders including hidden goto "documents and settings/your username/desktop" copy and paste the icons from there to "documents and settings/All Users/desktop" this gives access to all users that logon onto your pc. One thing to note here though some programs (settings) still need to installed into the users profile so on first run, the program may ask for the install disk, Microsoft Office is a good example of this (there are work arounds for this but........) |

| 238773 | 2004-05-23 12:34:00 | If your son is on a limited account, then you may need to set the security settings for the game folder to full access priviledges for his username. Some games don't like having read-only or limited access to the folder they are installed into. |

| 238775 | 2004-05-24 03:02:00 | Probably the easiest way to transfer the shortcuts is to right click on the Start button, choose Explore All Users then repeat and choose Explore. This will open two Windows Explorer windows and all you need do then is drag and drop the shortcuts from one window to the other. You may need to hold down the CTRL key if you want to copy the shortcuts, otherwise hold down Shift if you find that they are being copied rather than moved. | tommy (2826) | ||
