| 238562 | 2004-05-22 20:04:00 | You can set your homepage to PressF1 in IE > Tools > Internet options and then select current page once you have PF1 loaded. If you wish to have IE load directly to your user details just open up that page and then do the above to set it as your home page. It will help to have your login done automatically (it uses cookies to remember who you are). When next logging in, select the tick box below to enable automatic login. This means that whenever you visit PF1 you will be logged in automatically :) Is this what you meant? |

| 238563 | 2004-05-23 05:23:00 | Hi Jen I'm asking that after a sucessful login, instead of an empty login page with our username in small letters at the top, we are taken to the page if we had clicked our username - where it shows our details and meaages we are watching. No - not a homepage setting on my browser - that is set to blank. Not cookies either - i am running a RAM disk - and they get eliminated every reboot (as with history, and temp. Internet files) So I can't automatically login anyway. thanks anyway B) |

| 238564 | 2004-05-23 06:38:00 | Ah, I see what you mean now :) You are getting the blank login page after you have logged in because that is the URL pressf1.pcworld.co.nz that you have bookmarked and therefore the first page that loads. If you go to the homepage of PF1 instead pressf1.pcworld.co.nz and then click on Login, you will be returned back to the homepage after logging in. Therefore, you can if you wish set your details pressf1.pcworld.co.nz as the IE bookmark and click on the login link off that page. This means after logging in you will be returned back to your user details page. This makes sense to you? :) |
