238497 2004-05-22 08:23:00 Looking for a way to alter the XPHome default Logon Screen reappears after a period of inactivity.

By default is seems to be set a 5-10min or so, my wife want to know how to alter this setting. We have looked through "Help & Support", can't find what we are after there.

Thanks in anticipation.

John in Mosgiel.

238498 2004-05-22 08:30:00 I guess it is the screen-saver you are talking about.
Right click on the desktop, >>properties>>screensaver then put the time you want in the "wait" box.

Cheers, R2

238499 2004-05-22 09:27:00 Well, no, we dont have a screensaver, never installed/setup one. If we leave the PC unattended for a short period of time, it reversts back to the Logon screen.

Thanks for the reply.

Have you actually checked to see whether the screensaver is set to "blank"? There is a setting in there: "On resume password protect" that makes it goes back to the logon screen. This could be what you are needing to change.
