| 238461 | 2004-05-22 05:59:00 | What OS are you using? What other programmes are running at the time. Have you made any changes to your software lately? Is there any activitey like excessive HDD access (thrashing) or internet activity or is it just stone cold locked? Anti-virus and Adaware programmes upto date and scanned recently? You could try going to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and do a repair of IE. It's worth a try at least. Cheers Murray P |

| 238464 | 2004-05-23 01:10:00 | It wouldn't hurt to try Jim B's usual remedy: In Internet Explorer go to Tools\Internet Options 1/ On the General tab press "Delete Files" then tick "Delete All Offline Content" then press "OK" . Now press "Delete Cookies" then "OK" . 2/ On the Security tab press "Default Level" then press "Apply" 3/ On the Privacy tab (IE6 only) press "Default" then press "Apply" 4/ On the Programs tab press "Reset Web Settings" remove the tick from "Also Reset My Home Page" press "Yes" then "OK" then "Apply 5/ On the Advanced tab press "Restore Defaults" then press "Apply" then "OK" . |
