238754 2004-05-24 04:44:00 Isn't XP PRO great in that it automatically synchronises itself with something called time.windows.com - whatever or whoever that is. Scouse (83)
238755 2004-05-24 10:22:00 Am I right to say that the time posted on the left-hand side column is PF1's system time? Have checked all my other machines and confirmed that my system time is correct and that PF1 time is one hour faster.

Am I the only one experiecing this time difference?

Yep, only a 1 min defences between mine & Press F1

Does it really matter if the Press F1 clock is a few mins slow?

Also don’t forget peoples clocks e.g. bk T, might be fast or slow so that might be a reason why people think that the press f1 clock is fast/slow is because they clocks might be out of sink.

Of course, it doesn't matter at all . Just curious and wish to find out why is it so .

I have checked (synchronized) my clock - not only this machine but all the clocks like cell phones, etc . , under this roof are correct .

I am just curious as to why the time registered at PF1 is 1 hour faster . Have checked my other PC and it shows exactly the same .

Can someone out there enlighten me?

238759 2004-05-24 11:21:00 What time, according to you did you post that last message, bk T? It says 10 . 02pm on my screen, and its about 10 . 21 now .

Are you in NZ (forgive the silly question if so), I just clicked on the "My Settings" link and selected GMT +13:00 and lo and behold all times jumped forward an hour . Check your settings

it just appears from your posts that you are seeing something different to us, an hour different?

238760 2004-05-24 11:23:00 /me edits that last line out .... typed it, but didn't need it... I think I'm falling apart here, must be demensia setting in Jester (13)
238761 2004-05-24 12:22:00 You are right, Jester. It's 'MY SETTINGS' that caused the problem. Reset to Auckland time and hope it's OK.

But, it was OK before until yesterday or maybe slightly earlier then only I noticed that the time difference.

Thanks.
