| 238989 | 2004-05-24 10:36:00 | I have just found out I am in the Woosh reception area ,albiet with an extra booster aerial. A question I have is, do I still have to have extra as an isp. How do I keep my email addy. What pitfalls are there with woosh? I dont download much, the 1g capped version. Mainly for faster surfing, porn etc. tedheath |

Ping statistics for 203.109.252.75: Packets: Sent = 37, Received = 37, Lost = 0 (0% loss), Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds: Minimum = 62ms, Maximum = 391ms, Average = 166ms Pitfalls? Setting up the antenae can be a bit of a pain in the ass the first time around but from there on in its really dead simple! Xtra will no longer be your ISP, you'll get: username@woosh.co.nz for an email address. You may be able to get an "email-only" account from Xtra for a couple of bucks a month while you change over. | 238994 | 2004-05-25 01:43:00 | I don't which way to go I don't want to lose my e-mail addy but dial up internet is stoneage. I might wait until the monthly rate drops to $30 something a month. I waited for over 2 yrs until 500 mhz was the baseline speed to buy. (It was only beginning of yr 2000). I had a theory Moores law would slow down at around 500.
