| 238966 | 2004-05-24 10:18:00 | Using Windows XP pro have created a new user, when we go back to old user we have lost their Outlook settings. Is there any way of getting this back Thanks in advance R |

| 238967 | 2004-05-24 19:25:00 | Let me get this straight. You lost the Outlook settings for the old user? When you created the new user did it ask about creating a separate profile? I might have my versions wrong but I think you can choose whether you create a new environment for a new user or use an existing one. It sounds like it may have just used the existing. If that's the case, getting it back might be tricky. I wouldn't expect it to have overwritten any saved email data, however. This could be a win98 thing, not XP, anyone got any comments? robo. |

| 238970 | 2004-05-25 00:07:00 | When creating a new user, a new profile is created . The profile contains such items as the users favourites, history and outlook folders and files . If the 'old' user has not be deleted, the original favourites, etc can either be copied, imported or shared with the 'new' user . The computer is down .
