238795 2004-05-23 21:48:00 Where did the following come from, to get on my PC?.

" Teatimer caused an invalid page fault in module Kernel32.dll at 616hff7149c"

Win98se os.

Google tells me it's a German software program.

It locked up the screen needing a re-boot, during or after AVG auto update which runs every 2 days.

Any clues appreciated.

Ps. I see it under Spybot in the Find Folder window!!.

You will notice my earlier query on downloading Spybot tooo.

238796 2004-05-23 22:16:00 The Teatimer is part of the updated Spybot Search & Destroy program. I believe it provides real-time monitoring for spyware. You can disable it from loading/running by selecting that option from within the program. Look for the icon next to the PC clock and right-click on it. Alternatively you can disable it by using msconfig and removing it from the startup list.

Start > Run > msconfig.

See if this helps with the error message. If you would like this feature to stay (without the errors it is causing), try to reinstall Spybot.
