| 238776 | 2004-05-23 18:20:00 | Hi there I'm not sure if it is my isp (Quicksilver) or elswhere but lately I have been getting a large number of Operation Timed out errors which to a degree is making the internet useless. Any ideas would be interesting. |

Also ping an international site like www.microsoft.com to see if there is international traffic available. This will give you an idea where the prob is. I have had quicksilver not respond on the home page but fine on other sites. I also had a prob with a lot of page cannot be found when I was running Win2k and one of the versions of IE. I now have XP and the latest version of IE with no prob. Maybe updating IE if you don't have the latest version. PS: to ping go to the command prompt and type as follows ping www.quicksilver.net.nz and push enter. |
