Those who do use mobile data have you just accepted the prices and do you do adapt your usage and consume it modestly? The other day, well I am with 2D, a short driving journey cost me $1.50 with it's 50c per MB. That phones are so powerful now, but it seems that one cannot just use a phone without thinking about the data rate. | Nomad (952) | ||

Otherwise 500MB is absolutely fine and for most people it's quite sufficient for "basic" use :) Hell it beats 50c per-MB! That's just silly... Have moved the thread to PF1 Forum too. |

| 1362748 | 2013-12-16 01:35:00 | Im on a $6per month 50M data plan As long as I make sure that mobile data/3G etc is allways OFF untill I want to use it, 50M is enough for occasional usage. www.2degreesmobile.co.nz I have heard 'rumours' that some android apps turn data/3G back on when the app wants to 'phone home' . May not be true but Im sure its possible . |
