| 1362468 | 2013-12-13 22:52:00 | When I tried to do Windows recovery from the system created earlier, I get this error message: "Failed to restart the computer. Windows cannot restart the computer into the Windows Recovery Environment to complete the Recovery operation. " I could however, able to boot up the computer by using the Win 7 install DVD and completed the reimaging successfully. This Win7 install DVD did detected this restart problem when I click the repair option, but somehow, it could not repair it. LOL. I actually did a clean reinstall of Win7, created the system image, but when trying to test the integrity the backup file the above error pops up. I have googled the above but without much luck. OS: Win 7 ultimate What have done wrong? |

| 1362469 | 2013-12-14 04:43:00 | I had a similar problem last week. I found an alleged way to fix the boot problem on www.sevensforum.com. Using the Win7 install DVD apparently you need to use the repair function and select the start repair ie. the first option, but you need to do it three times! Apparently the system tries several things to get the boot to work. If you only do the repair say twice it may not work - you need to do it three times in a row without doing anything else - do not power down just do it three times in a row! At the time I did try several things and I did get it to boot but I do not know that it was the work around that did it. |

| 1362473 | 2013-12-14 23:22:00 | What did you make the image with? As not all programs can image the hidden boot partition | gary67 (56) | ||
