1362455 2013-12-13 07:32:00 I have a friends Strontium 8 gig memory stick.

When they pout it in their tv it plays a few movies.

Yet when I put it in my pc it does not show these movies.

I have set Windows 7 to show hidden files.

When I click on properties it shows only 1 gig of free space available.

Any suggestions as to how I can see the movies.

So I can watch them or maybe delete them.

By any chance were the movies put on the drive Via a MAC (this relates back to first question) ?

1362458 2013-12-13 09:24:00 To Tell what its formatted as, try this, right click the drive / Properties, it may tell you. The drive may be formatted in something Windows cant see.

If you want to copy off the movies, something like recuva (www.piriform.com) may grab them.

Do all memory sticks have built in files on them that control things etc ?
