| 1341380 | 2013-05-14 12:45:00 | Hi all, Does anybody know where to get a UV Ink tattoo in Auckland? I've phoned dozen places, none have it or know anybody who does it. I've seen some for sale on TradeMe and Sella etc that I could take to a tattoo artist, but I'm a bit wary of it... Willing to travel anywhere around the better part of the North Island, though I'm based outta Auckland :) Thanks Chill. |

The idea is you get 1) A cool tat under UV 2) invisible/discreet tat under "normal" light Mostly aimed at people who want something new or people who want ink but can't get it (say their job prohibits etc) One of my mates has one over the top of his other "normal" tats, looks quite cool esp at night with UV. He used a cheap ink tho so it's going a slight yellow now. Risk is risk I suppose, if you got some of the expensive stuff from a decent company you *should* be ok... the "risk" IMO is more the ink changing colour and becoming visible in all light or not working in UV as opposed to health. These days I think the health is a milder side effect (still a risk though) Getting a nice big ingress tat are we chill? PS I hear highlighters work quite well, perhaps you should invest in a 12 pack of Stabilos? :D |

My other one is on my shoulder so it's covered by anything but a muscle-T. |
