1341348 2013-05-20 10:07:00 How often does spybot2 need to be run? Ran it last week and it found 15 items on my laptop. I run ours Spybot, Super Antispyware and Nod32 every week while out doing the weekly shopping .
They never find anything (apart from cookies if I forget to run Ccleaner first) since the software is actually stopping anything from getting in in the first place.

1341349 2013-05-21 02:59:00 Well, now that I've got the Beta version, I think it should be renamed to the Better version. R2x1 (4628)

Tried that. It offered an earlier v number than I have. So, after taking so long to get this far, I'll stick with the one I have (2.1.17.91) for a year or two.
I trust it will block everything W8 related ;)

WT ...Are you using a utility, script or batch file to run/update the programs consecutively? Or are they run at delayed times? I'm looking for something to run such programes immediately after each other.

I'm looking for something to run such programes immediately after each other. Personally I do all that sort of thing manually. I'd rather have control as to when they update/run.

The Spybot is active on web sites checking as per post #1 picture. Spybot does have a scheduler inbuilt, but it's on the paid version, haven't tried it.

One item they have included is an antivirus - which I opted out of during the install options. ( never use recommended options)

The only protection I run on a schedule is the Smart Security ( nod32) That does everything on its own, update/scan etc.
