| 1341084 | 2013-05-15 00:45:00 | It's a real tough question tbh, whilst on one hand I'd like to see the country flourish without being bogged down with thousands of immigrants I know we are immigrants ourselves and I also know that sometime I myself might want to move overseas. If we say no then they say no, and it all stops. Some of them bring good things, others bad but the same goes for overseas. I might want to move to china to expand my business/ideas or whatever it is. Then the CN govt could just give me the one finger salute because we don't let Chinese into NZ. Tougher immigration laws are called for IMO but at the same time, remember that sometimes you might want to leave the country too. Plus having new people is actually a good thing. |

Growing a country is good if you do it gradually to keep pace with infrastructure, it is not good to let them flood in out of control, it places to much demand on resources and over inflates prices - the housing market is a classic case at the moment, there are not enough houses to go around and its pushing the demand up so the price goes up. Think what that will be like in Auckland with another million people in it - its madness. Illegal immigrants should be bussed to the nearest coast line and told to swim back to where they came from and if they choose to touch NZ shores again without doing it legally they will be shot. |

| 1341086 | 2013-05-15 02:17:00 | Melbourne has gone into a big downhill spiral. Sad really because it used to be a great City. I seems they now have a policy of never removing graffiti from around the city, never spraying weeds along the railway lines, only a few people mowing the berm outside their houses, (the Council dont have a mower), most power and telephone is overhead, and if you didnt know better youd swear you were in India. However, they still know how to run sports events. :clap Ahh well, there is always Brisbane north. |

| 1341092 | 2013-05-15 09:19:00 | But there's still traffic issues during the university holidays? Nope. During the holidays, very few people (students) will remain in Aukland; they are either go to other towns or somewhere else. Only place that may attract some is the Casino which is good as it brings in lots of money. :D |
