| 1341836 | 2013-05-21 00:53:00 | the exempt-able conditions seem silly. i just want to grow some next to my dandelions and garlic. some 19th century legislature classifies hemp as a noxious weed. the fees seem unreasonable. $511.11 + $153.33 hilarious even. |

| 1341837 | 2013-05-21 01:43:00 | The problem with hemp is NZ has a drug abuse problem. Thats why the 19th century laws were changed. many drugs were legal back then. I even knew guys who tried smoking some very old hemp rope in the hope of getting a buzz. Thats the mentality we have to legislate for. Why the obsession with hemp. Why not grow some cotton instead. Or Flax .Or hops. Or gorse if you want a noxious weed. I suspect its only because its hemp that youre really interested (be honest) . Not that long ago a MP spent thousands (of our money) on hemp curtains. Again, why not cotton at 1/10 of the price? |

| 1341841 | 2013-05-21 09:23:00 | whats wrong with the leaves? hunger is the best sauce. the leaves have all the benefits of the oil and require no processing. can be eaten raw in a salad or juiced for the ultimate green juice. dandelion juice has a good kick to it. garlic juice is quite sweet. basically id like to grow all of my food. buying oil goes against this ideology. slaughtering all of the little meat i eat. |

Industrial hemp seeds can only be purchased from licensed industrial hemp growers who have a permit to sell seeds. All such seed must be tracked and sold only to licensed growers. I recommend anyone interested in growing industrial hemp for business purposes contact the NZ Hemp Association which represents industrial hemp growers. |
