Some of us regulars arrived early but there was nothing to talk about because we all knew each other too well. The silence was broken like this: "So how's your project going?" "Terrible. It's one big problem. Bigger than Texas." Silence. Nobody wants to talk about problems. After a long time: "Actually, it's As big as Texas." "What? What do you mean?" "He should have said As big as Texas, not Bigger than Texas. There's nothing bigger than Texas." "Yeah? Well, I'm saying it's even bigger than that..." Somebody else: "No! No! Texas is defined as being the biggest. It's impossible to get bigger." Somebody else again: "Yes but he's defining it to be even bigger, so it must be..." And so it went on, getting more and more heated, until after an hour it suddenly went quiet again. Jamie the barman said "Now what brought that on?" |

They need to get an education then since Alaska is so much bigger than Texas something like 3 times the size |
