| 1362475 | 2013-12-13 23:40:00 | Just tried to create a restore point for my PC running Win8.1 (first time doing it) and notice that: 1. Local Disk (C) (System) is OFF 2. Another item below it looks like a folder (C)(Missing) is ON snapshot is attached here: 5373 This info maybe usefull: as my system was not stable, I did a re-image using Active@ last night; and everything is work OK now. Could someone please enlighten me, thanks. |

| 1362476 | 2013-12-14 05:22:00 | Seen that in W7. I "think" its because windows got confused or corrupted somewhere. When W7 onwards installs it actually creates the hidden partition, which originally is C, then the OS installs on D, once the install is done, the Main OS then changes to C (confused yet :waughh: ) If you did a disk part with the correct commands it will show. Example: 5375 IF you want the commands I can post ( Later) -- BUT maybe not right now -- got some home Brew (spirits/ top shelf stuff) from one of my customers :D Nuff said ;) OR in W8.1, right click the start button, Disk management - it shows whats what :) |
