1341355 2013-05-14 08:47:00 My old cell had 2 icons on the screen, one to turn it on and one to turn the sound off.
Would it be possible to have a dedicated icon for turning the sound off on the 4 ?

1341356 2013-05-14 11:18:00 If you install Power Toggles, one of the (many) toggles you can install is a volume controller.

Power Toggles, when running, is accessed by dragging down the notification bar.

Alternatively (and easier), if you press and hold the power button, the Power Off/Aeroplane Mode prompt appears. But in the bottom left corner, there's a speaker icon with a line diagonally through it. Tap it, and you have muted the phone. To restore volume, press the power button and tap the speaker icon on the bottom right hand side.

Thanks Joh, is the magic of these things never ending?

1341359 2013-05-14 11:55:00 Easy peasy. Go to the image you want to delete, then tap the image to bring up the menu at the top of the screen. Then tap the the three vertical dots and the top option is Delete johcar (6283)
1341360 2013-05-14 12:32:00 You can also delete several at once from the Gallery view where you see a "board" of them all, tap and hold on the first one you want to "select", then tap individually on all the others subsequently. Then just hit the Delete button up the top.

Another thing you can do:
Take a photo, then put your finger on it and quickly swipe from the right to the left. This will take you to a "Film reel" type view for you to review your latest photos. If there's a couple of bad ones, just flick them up, or down, and it'll delete it. Try it out!
It's great, I usually take 3-4 photos of something and then later choose to keep the best of the bunch :)
