| 239595 | 2004-05-26 22:56:00 | Greetings, A customer is having issues shutting down their PC. It simply hangs when shutting down. This is only since he installed the DSE Firewire / Raid / SATA / USB2.0 all-in-one PCI Card. Updated with all the latest drivers, windows service packs, cleaned out all 6 viruses he had, cleaned out the spyware.... Only it still wont shut down. Funny thing is it hibernates fine! Any ideas? | 239596 | 2004-05-26 23:14:00 | The following is from a forum and fixed this problem for some people. Check your BIOS power settings. Make certain the "Wake on Modem Ring" and "Wake on PCI PME" are set to "Stay Off." If they are not, change them and see what happens |

| 239597 | 2004-05-26 23:52:00 | Changed the settings and it still does it.... I disabled APCI and XP stopped booting.... :p So, back to square one, it hibernates but wont shut down. Cheers Chill. |
