2004-05-28 02:54:00 | No | Andrew B (867) | |
2004-05-28 03:02:00 | the answer is a very big NO!! however you can get a box that will take the vidoe out from a camara and turn it in to digital info for the fireware port, the box costs a lot of $$ ($700+) firewire is a digital system and the video out you talk of is an analog system and that problem. so with out spending $700 the answer is no.

2004-05-28 03:04:00 | $700? An $80 tv-capture card will do it no problem.

2004-05-28 03:06:00 | ok thanks. I thought that might be the answer. No harm in asking though. | Andrew B (867) | |
2004-05-28 03:07:00 | well yes a $80 capture card will do the capture but the $700 box will do it with the firewire port :-) | robsonde (120) | |
