| 239955 | 2004-05-28 01:23:00 | ploughing along nicely since getting this word prog, and yesterday i found i have done something so i do not see the overall page veiw like i have been? i have tried fiddling around checking out settings etc.... but view is still set at Normal and it does not have page ruler ??? or whatever it was down the side... what may i have inadvertantly clicked on???? and im also stuck with multiple back ups of all my assignments, but they dont put them in the folder i made for back ups.... can some one jog my memory where to untick make a back up copy??? much appreciate any help given beetle |

| 239960 | 2004-05-28 01:44:00 | Can you post a screenie of an existing document without the settings you want, and another screenie of how you want it to look? It's a bit hard to figure out what you have lost. As for the backups, I'm not sure whether you are talking about automatic backups or ones you have made but go to Tools>Options>File Locations and modify the path where you want your files to go for Documents. |

| 239961 | 2004-05-28 01:52:00 | well the screen may take more effort than i have at mo, will get back to you on that one. the back ups....seem to be the auto do it itself thing..... remember i said something to you ages ago about it and couldnt find the untick option.... so its now unticked thanxs to goddie, but still got lots of back up of assignments littering my lists now.... OT here what is the file association tmp stand for? shows up in my doc's list in word. just doing some cleaning up of things comp wise...... nothing major ....dont panic..... beetle |
