But check whether the supplier can do on the site service as I had to have the mother board replaced, my fault, and it had to go back to Acer at Albany. It was away for 3 weeks. I increased my RAM to 512 MB. Great machine. I have 2 printers, a scanner, an external sound system, a full size split keyboard and a 19 inch monitor running from it without any trouble what so ever. Any PC that can stand up to the abuse I give it has to be excellent. Dumb Bell. |

| 239747 | 2004-05-27 09:49:00 | Yes, but in the case of an Acer laptop ALL service is handled by Acer Care NZ directly, so it doesn’t really matter where you purchase it, as long as you get a receipt. But I will agree that their over the counter replacement for most of their DSE/Digitor and other in house products is nice, also means you can "try before you buy" :D | nz_liam (845) | ||
