239634 2004-05-27 04:01:00 I have just captured my first piece of video using a capture card. The video is brilliant but the audio sounds like they are in a hollow room and volumn is very low. What have I done wrong Kevinrc (5697)
239635 2004-05-27 04:04:00 Try turning up the Capture Volume

Double-click on the little Speaker Icon in your Systray by the Clock to bring up the Volume Control
Click Options then Properties
Click on Recording and put a tick in every box below.
Hit Okay and the Volume Control should change to that of the Recording Devices.

Up the volume of your Line-In / Mic (Whatever you're using to capture) and see how you go there.

Hope this helps

239637 2004-05-27 06:58:00 No problems,

And forgive me for being so rude, Welcome to PressF1 :-)

What chipset is your card based on? Could you cat /proc/pci and post the relevant info and I'll help you out.

What Kernel / Distro?
