| 240841 | 2004-06-01 04:35:00 | For security reasons I was advised to switch to Power User for everyday use rather than Administrator in XP Pro. This I did but I have lost access back to Administrator for installing software, changing settings, etc. On going to "Switch User" there is no Administrator shown even though I thought I had saved one. There is only one account with admin access (called cclogin) but I am not sure where it came from and I don't have a password for it (doesn't work with no password). I have searched here and on the net and tried various suggestions but haven't been able to do anything with the limited access I currently have. Does this mean I am stuck with reformat and reinstall everything? |
