| 240759 | 2004-06-01 03:42:00 | I want to put high quality Video into a power point presentation. My MPEG-4 low bit rate works fine, but anything of a higher quality such as MPEG-2 won't run. I have found out PPt uses Media Player(WP) (mplay32..exe) not Windows Media Player(WMP) (Which works just fine with the MPEG-2) And yes, I have the same problem with Media Player. I get a black hole, instant time completion and no action. I have a slick new InterVidia Card which does real time encoding in a myriad of options, but can only get WP to recognise a few low res MPEG-4 files, while WMP plays them all. Any ideas? CaptnRon |

| 240761 | 2004-06-01 04:31:00 | I can't get the quality in MPEG 4. As I move the bitrate up the quality of the video doesn't seem to increase, only the file size. By quality I mean the serious compresssion algorithm distortions. I do have a dcent MPEG-4 encoder, but MP won't play it or any of the MPEG-2 stuff. Like I said, the Windows Media Player Playes them fine. |
